Employment Exchange Computerization
(Roll out)
Brief Description :
The
task to roll out the web based national Employment Exchange Portal in
all the 73 Employment Exchanges of the state amounting to about 65
lakhs of registered candidates in the existing Live Register(LR).
Digitization of about 45 lakhs of candidate data and migration of the
remaining 20 lakhs candidate data from Oracle to PostgreSQL form the
major part of the work to be completed. While the software is
successfully implemented in Regional Employment Exchange, Kolkata with
a LR of 2.20 lakh candidates, the same task is to be completed for all
the other exchanges.
Salient Features :
The
portal software permits
candidates to
register, renew and update qualifications directly on online mode and
also the exchange to view the details and for verification at candidate
level and management of the live register.

DPR for NeGP in
Labour Department, Govt of WB
Brief Description : The present scope of the project is to prepare a Detailed
Project Report (DPR) in a given template (supplied by World bank)
towards an e-Governance program for labour Department. The DPR is
expected to include stakeholder analysis, service and service levels,
Government Process Reengineering proposed, Review of the legal
framework, a comprehensive budget including an implementation plan and
various other relevant issues.
Salient Features :
Subject to acceptance of the report and placement of
necessary resource (fund), further activities on the project shall
commence.
